Hammond T-522 mods: video samples

Did take the time today to consume this organ and play some more. Like I said, the level at which I can play in the garage or in a band makes the current noise problem marginal. There is a 'Volume Soft' button which is very handy but flatten out the treble side.

In the end, that's what the spinet needs after the mods: more high end. That's what really make the organ kick @ss.

I'm playing this on the upper manual only, Rhythm unit unconnected and didn't manage to yet the plug yet. These are shot with my cell phone, so cut me some. Volume is kind of low, but the idea is there. With the digital compression and clipping it seems like the organ distorts even more than it really does, but still.

you will have to turn the volume up.

Fat sounds and harmonic use of 'inferior quality media' go hand in hand. I will be devoting and blog to this someday, but for now y'all have to start with an outstanding basic introduction to lofi in PDF. ... thanks CT!

edit: rehosted videos to youtube what a blessing, just takes some time to process.
