PT-80 Sound Dimension Digital Delay: part III : boxing up

At last I boxed up my PT-80 delay. Did take some time as I was waiting for the stepup chip. As the circuit performs better at higher voltages (it does work at 9V) but most pedals and supplies are still 9V I wanted to be able to feed it from my multiblock.
RG Keen has published an interesting article on
how to use the MAX1044 chip to raise the voltage. The cheapest source for these chips I found to be
Futurlec.com at $2.95.

Important warning If you use them, don't feed them over 10V -- they'll die. I know, I tried. Also, unless you are a robot, order the chip I pointed to above, and not the cheaper version. It's too small for you soldering iron.
Mounting the MAX1044 on board was a challenge in itself. I somehow succeeded in mounting it on the DC jack, leaving the large pc board to be manouvred in between it all. Not a pretty sight. On initial testing I have clean signal coming out, so the connections to the pots should be checked once more.
Here you can see the Maximizer chip pcb mounted on the DC jack and wrapped in tape for insulation.

Wiring and fitting is admittedly messy and tight.
