Gran Giah Supa Spinta part III: finishing and testing
The Gran Giah Supa Spinta is a fact. Boxed up and ready to go. It's my first build by request and there's some happy Giah somewhere who desperately wants to try it. He will have to wait until Tuesday evening. I really enjoyed to build this guitar booster, and like it a lot. Apart from being a solid booster with tone control, it really drives tube amps into the right harmonics. Thanks and respect to Jack Orman for designing the circuit.
Had some issues popping up: the LED and Treble control didn't work when I initially fired it up in boxed form. Turned out the two tabs on the DC jack aren't connected. For the Treble control the pot connection to earth seemed dead. Goes to show that it's always something simple and logical. :-)
